Diego is the Founding Executive Director for Liminal Works, a groundbreaking tech non-profit empowering progressive grassroots activists and organizers through technologies co-developed with them, by them, and free to them. He is also an HIV activist, and queer community organizer currently based in Los Angeles.
In 2016, he co-founded the Seattle’s LGBTQ ballroom scene and built the global movement’s most popular website - The House of Luna. As a research scientist, he published two peer-reviewed publications on trust and stigma while at Seattle University. He was a central collaborator for the Global Burden of Disease Study where he built the world’s most comprehensive mortality database and co-authored 10 landmark publications in global health. He advised the Mexican government’s 2014-2015 IMSS health system reform, and advised the City of Seattle’s Racial & Social Justice Initiative. He joined the tech sector for 4 years before returning to civil rights as the national Director of Products and Platforms at the Anti-Defamation League, which he left to better serve liberation movements in early 2024.

Joyce is a Product Manager and Communications Leader dedicated to driving transformative initiatives through product equity, marketing, and business strategy. Driven by a deep desire to make a difference, she began her career leading sanitation projects across 75+ cities in Brazil, improving health conditions for over half a million people in remote areas. After immigrating to the U.S. in 2017 for a work and study program, she earned a Master's in Business Administration and joined a fintech company in 2022, where she launched a mobile banking app for undocumented immigrants and a platform supporting 600+ Latino-owned small businesses.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Joyce is passionate about empowering underserved communities through mentorship and advocacy. She has mentored women at "Cruzando Histórias", a nonprofit dedicated to employability and combating gender violence, providing digital marketing training and personalized guidance to help women start their businesses in São Paulo. Joyce also mentors aspiring product managers at Latinas in Tech, volunteers at a Philadelphia food bank, and supports nonprofits like "Liminal Works" for collective liberation. Additionally, she organizes ProductTank events to foster collaboration within the product management community in Philadelphia/ PA.
